Never thought of it this way, but reflecting upon our last discussion that is what actually transpired. But his life, his decision how to go about it and I have my life and my responsibility for my well-being. I sincerely took this as an opportunity to go manifesting everything that it has been on my to do list (big projects) because if I had to conjure up the willingness to deal with the hurt and find my peace again, I can do anything else I inspire to.

But getting exceeding amount of attention or,should I say, special attention and/or gestures from married men(before I know this fact) happened to me a couple of times. To the point where I start dwelling on what there is to come. Thankfully, I find out a person is married soon enough, and I am the one to walk away. They would still continue on pursuing!!! Why?? What’s the point?? I walk away just from getting attention and it’s already so hurtful. Why would someone do that to another especially if they like them. A mystery…at my age, definitely. There is no time to play games and lie to yourself and others. Life is precious. It’s cruel to intentionally waste someone else’s time like that.

I’ve followed your advice for years so when I got into something with a separated man, I didn’t go all in and was wary – so it should not have been a surprise that he ghosted me after 6 months, during which, he did all the chasing, and all the date planning. Yes, he was irresponsible! He disappeared on me the night after a wedding we’d gone to together! It was also 4 days before we were meant to go on a trip to Portugal (again, his idea…). I was pretty shocked that a 50-something man could behave in such a childish way and I have a lot of anger toward him still, after 4 months of this happening so this video is really helping me feel less alone and more in control – I feel like my feelings are validated by this because, yes, some guys ARE jerks and we don’t always see it coming. He took me on a romantic weekend in the mountains on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th and on Sunday morning, 25th December 2022 (Christmas day) he broke up with me.it was a trauma, I could have never expected this to happen.
He had found another woman, I found out one month later.
It’s taking me more than one year to recover from this trauma…. Your words really resonate!
